Over several years Tango has working collaboratively with Mornington Peninsula Shire Council to unlock an investigation area of Low Density Residential Land, to confirm its suitability for rezoning to Neighborhood Residential. The rezoning relates to an infill area of 11 hectares with Tango as lead proponent for the precinct. The future development is proposed to cater for ~200 residential homes and will also be suitable for retirement living. It has been creatively designed to reposition under-utilised Council land and replace with a series of embellished local parks, whilst preserving a number of mature indigenous trees. Importantly the rezoning will also include traffic and transport upgrades and funding contributions to Council’s much needed social housing initiatives which all combined represents a substantial net community benefit.
